Calcein *X-Pure*

A polyanionic fluorescein derivative of fluorescein, green-fluorescent polar tracer that is used for the fluorimetric determination of calcium in the presence of Mg by complexometric titration. It is possibly the best nonfixable, green-fluorescent polar tracer and has used as a tracer in liposomes.
